Responsibilities
Cultivate and expand upon a network of referral partners, including real estate brokers, title agents, attorneys, and financial advisors.
Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
Nurture and maintain strong client relationships.
Document and maintain relationships in CRM
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Represent 1031X at industry trade shows and events.
Deliver engaging webinars, podcasts, and live presentations on 1031 exchanges.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Understand how to process 1031 exchange transactions for our clients.
Utilize company software and document management systems effectively.
Provide overflow support to other Exchange Officers when needed.
(Potential) Build and lead a regional team.

Required
Certified Exchange Specialist (CES) designation
5+ years of business development/sales experience in the 1031 exchange industry
8+ years of experience as an Exchange Officer
Bachelor’s degree in a related/relevant field (business, accounting, finance, etc.)
Demonstrable track record of exceeding pipeline and revenue targets
Willingness to travel within the region for industry events and business development opportunities (25%+)
Willingness to obtain and maintain state real estate CE accreditation
Preferred
Domiciled in California, Arizona, Hawaii, or Nevada
Proficiency in Google Workspace
Access to existing network of referral partners in the Western U.S.
