Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management programs for DMEPOS services.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, including those outlined by Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers, and ensure the organization complies with all regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., CMS, Joint Commission, BOC, ACHC).
Lead the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to provide insight into quality trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
Oversee quality monitoring, audits, and assessments, and use data analytics to identify areas for improvement.
Establish performance metrics and goals for the quality management program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management program, making adjustments as needed to meet evolving needs and regulatory changes.
Manage the reporting of quality measures and clinical outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all required documentation and reporting deadlines are met.
Manage company policies and procedures including annual review and maintenance.
Identify, assess, investigate, perform RCA and mitigate risks related to grievances, service delivery, patient safety and quality of care within the DMEPOS environment.
Provide leadership in clinical aspects of quality management, guiding staff in implementing best practices, protocols, and patient care processes.
Develop and deliver training programs for staff on quality improvement strategies, compliance with standards, and patient safety.
Support the development of clinical programs within scope of clinical licensure.
Coordinate with other departments to resolve quality issues and improve the effectiveness of patient care practices.
Guide, mentor, hire, train and support team members to maximize performance, foster professional growth, and develop key skills.
Drive team objectives, align individual goals with organizational priorities, and manage team performance to meet business targets.
Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture by promoting teamwork, respect, and employee engagement.
Oversee the performance appraisal process, conduct regular feedback sessions, and provide constructive guidance to enhance individual and team productivity.

Required

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a quality management or clinical environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare quality metrics, patient safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of CMS regulations and other industry standards and accreditations for DMEPOS providers.
Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems
Demonstrate organizational skills
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate analytical skills when problem-solving
Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience in DMEPOS services or a healthcare setting that involves the provision of durable medical equipment and related supplies is highly preferred.
