Responsibilities
Collaborate with staff to support projects with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other government agencies
Conduct research and environmental analyses of climate-friendly alternatives to hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs)
Assist in developing and implementing public policies to promote climate-friendly alternatives
Develop tools and models to support data analyses, particularly in economic and chemical information
Manage moderately complex assignments and ensure the accuracy and quality of work products

Required
Background in biological or environmental sciences, chemistry, chemical or environmental engineering, public health, or related technical disciplines
Familiarity with key environmental policies and programs, such as the Clean Air Act and American Innovation in Manufacturing (AIM) Act
Excellent quantitative skills, including expertise with Excel, Access, R, Qlik Sense, and/or ArcGIS
Senior Analyst: Master’s Degree + 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD; Associate: Master’s Degree + 7 years of relevant experience, or PhD + 4 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication and writing skills
Preferred
Experience with federal or state government roles
Project or task management experience
