Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise-class web applications within HHSC's SOA platform using Agile methodologies
Delivering responsive, scalable, and accessible UI solutions
Performing development and support for Social Services applications
Optimizing UI frameworks
Troubleshooting issues
Ensuring ADA compliance
Participating in all SDLC phases
Creating technical documentation
Developing reusable components
Ensuring application quality through test-driven development and performance tuning

Required
8+ years of hands-on Front-End/UI development experience with enterprise-class applications using Angular and/or similar frameworks on J2EE platforms.
8+ years of experience participating in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
8+ years of experience with Authentication/Authorization and Caching strategies.
8+ years of programming experience with HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, TypeScript, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, Maven, and other UI frameworks/libraries.
8+ years of experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level Front-End/UI applications with full ownership of the front-end stack (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, or similar).
8+ years of experience building responsive, client-facing applications and implementing Single Page Applications (SPAs).
8+ years of experience creating reusable, testable UI components with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance.
8+ years of experience developing and testing UI for ADA/Accessibility compliance.
8+ years of experience implementing best practices for design, scalability, and maintainability.
8+ years of experience with test-driven development using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium.
Preferred
5+ years of experience with Spring Boot Java applications.
5+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later.
5+ years of experience with Agile Development Methodologies (Scrum preferred).
5+ years of experience with web applications on Cloud platforms.
5+ years of experience with CI/CD methodology.
5+ years of development experience for mobile and tablet platforms.
