Responsibilities

Work closely with the project teams to maintain the existing code base and implement and merge new features.

Review patches from other team members.

In general, improve the quality of the code base in your daily work.

Merge upstream changes into the code base of our forks.

Identify and document issues in the product.

Required

3+ years working as a database developer, ideally working with PostgreSQL

Expert programming skills in C

Write regression tests, both for newly reported bugs and new features

Knowledge of software development under Linux

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred

General PostgreSQL Knowledge

Knowledge of Python

Knowledge of distributed databases

Experience with Linux, especially Red Hat or Ubuntu

Knowledge in creating software packages

Work with GitHub Actions workflows

ETL fundamentals

Experience with Product Support in an open source environment
