Responsibilities
Research new business, identify key players and craft targeted messaging focused on the company’s offerings both within and outside of the entertainment space, and corporate client pool. Maintaining a strong focus on revenue growth and new business development to expand our client base across top tiers within the industry.
Be the prospecting SME - sharing learnings and best practices to support the overall success of the business and team
Negotiate deals and add to our “core” client profile that facilitate tour, retail and e-commerce.
Proactively seek out client opportunities outside of the “entertainment space” that can benefit from DRM suite of services. Look for opportunities where e-commerce and custom supply services can be leveraged to access new client opportunities

Required
Minimum of 5-7 years’ in the music/entertainment industry
Solid connections with decision makers within agencies and record labels
Ability to negotiate fair business contracts
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to win
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
You are flexible and able to thrive in a startup environment
Excellent communications skills with the ability and desire to communicate openly and respectfully
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Results-Driven: Focused on exceeding metrics for bringing new business and generating revenue growth
Detail oriented: Focused on meticulous management of independent artists
Highly Adaptable: Able to succeed and pivot within a rapidly changing entertainment landscape

Preferred
Direct experience within merchandising is highly desirable
Knowledge and business acumen for standard merchandising deal structures
