Responsibilities

Leverage advanced analytical techniques and tools, such as SQL, Python, or R, to process and analyze large datasets for high-impact business insights.
Conduct comprehensive digital funnel analyses, including multi-touch attribution modeling and advanced segmentation strategies, to uncover conversion barriers.
Serve as a technical expert on Matomo and Google Analytics 4 (GA4), with hands-on experience in setting up and customizing Enhanced eCommerce tracking, advanced filters, and data layers.
Oversee the implementation of event tracking and advanced tag configurations using JavaScript and custom data layer specifications.
Maintain the accuracy and efficiency of marketing performance dashboards by implementing rigorous QA processes.
Support complex debugging and troubleshooting for data inconsistencies across platforms, utilizing browser developer tools, network tab analysis, and third-party integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are upheld.

Required

3-5 years of experience working with advanced web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Matomo, Adobe Analytics, or similar, with a proven track record of leveraging custom dimensions, segments, and Enhanced eCommerce features.
2-3 years of experience working with Power BI to collect, clean, and publish reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
Expertise in website tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or Tealium, with hands-on experience in custom tag creation and debugging.
Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, including SEO, SEM, email, and programmatic advertising, and their respective tracking methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data collection and integration issues related to unfamiliar technologies.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.

Preferred

Matomo experience is preferred.
Shared services or agency experience is preferred.
Professional Education industry experience preferred.
