Responsibilities
Own the company’s financial model. Your north star metrics will be take rate management from marketplace bookings, and recurring revenue growth from monthly fees.
Manage the companies cash flow, including monitoring delayed payments and refunds to ensure proper cash management
Partner with Engineering to improve our financial infrastructure and tracking capabilities
Support financial modeling and board meeting preparation, working with the CEO, COO, CRO, & COS to deliver accurate insights
Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring complete accuracy in our reporting
Optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work

Required
Proven player/coach who can both architect strategy and drive hands-on execution
Self-starter who thrives working autonomously as a self-directed team of one, while maintaining strong collaboration with stakeholders
Strong understanding of financial operations and revenue tracking
Direct marketplace experience is a must
Proven track record of building and optimizing financial operations in a multi-sided marketplace
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel and financial software proficiency
High attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
Willingness to be hands-on and drive day-to-day execution in an incredibly high-growth, fast-paced startup environment
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Preferred
8-10 years of experience in financial operations or related roles
Knowledge of payment systems and revenue operations
Strong project management skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
You have excellent references, where former managers or leaders will vouch for you in any company
Ideal candidate is preferably located in Austin, Philadelphia, or NYC, though not required
