Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies for new and existing products, taking into account market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer value propositions.
Conduct market and customer research along with competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and trends while providing actionable insights to product and sales teams.
Collaborate with Product Management to define pricing models, structures, and guidelines to support product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Work with Finance to create pricing models and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue targets.
Partner with Sales to craft pricing proposals, discount strategies, and promotional programs that enhance customer acquisition and retention, applying insights to refine pricing models.
Collaborate with Customer Experience to ensure the successful rollout and communication of new pricing programs for current clients.
Create and present pricing communication materials, including pricing guides, value propositions, and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze pricing performance against financial targets, customer feedback, and market conditions to continuously optimize pricing strategies.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging pricing methodologies to keep pricing practices competitive and compliant.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
8+ years of proven experience in pricing strategy, deal desk, or related roles in a technology or SaaS environment
Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey pricing strategies to diverse audiences
Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of pricing methodologies (especially consumption-based and value-based pricing) and pricing optimization techniques
Proficiency in tools such as Excel and CRM systems
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree
