Responsibilities

The preparation of various income tax returns using CCH Prosystem Fx Tax

Bookkeeping using Quickbooks

Consulting clients via email and phone as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Minimum of four (4) years of Accounting-related work experience, at least 2 years specifically with Prosystem Fx Tax

References are required

Must be proficient with the advanced features of ProSystem FX

Must be proficient with the advanced features of QuickBooks

Must be proficient with Microsoft applications

Must be able to research instructions and requirements for tax forms from government sources

Must be able to draft professional emails

Must be able to manage client expectations

Must be able to operate independently under minimum supervision after onboarding

Preferred

CPA License preferred but not required.

Ability to research tax code rules for specific accounting-related definitions and rules within the Internal Revenue Code from sources such as https://www.law.cornell.edu/
