Systems Engineer (Tier 1)

Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support, troubleshooting issues related to workstations, servers, and systems.
Assist in the implementation and management of Microsoft and Google cloud services, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Google Enterprise.
Conduct asset management, including inventory tracking, warranty management, and lifecycle classification.
Support users with workstation and desktop configurations, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and related systems.
Participate in cloud and on-premises migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
Assist with network configurations, including DNS, firewalls, and VPNs.
Support disaster recovery initiatives, including backups and archival strategies.
Maintain documentation of processes, configurations, and system diagrams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical challenges.

Required
Familiarity with Google Enterprise and Microsoft 365 implementations.
Basic troubleshooting skills for workstation and server issues.
Understanding of Active Directory, including domain management and user permissions.
Knowledge of cloud services, including Azure, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Exposure to networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS configuration, and VPNs.
Ability to manage helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk) and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
Proficient in operating systems: Apple Mac, Linux, and Microsoft Windows.
Understanding of security best practices and data management principles.
Willingness to work after hours as needed to meet project deadlines and address emergencies.
