Responsibilities
Lead the design and deployment of cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet the business and technical needs of the organization.
Work closely with the development team, helping to translate strategic vision into actionable technical solutions. Guide the team in implementing best practices for security, governance, and performance.
Coordinate with vendors and business partners, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of cloud solutions with external systems.
Manage enterprise workloads deployed to the cloud, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Conduct design sessions with application architects and development staff. Act as a trusted advisor, justifying design choices through cost/benefit analysis.
Utilize scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) to automate processes, optimize workflows, and integrate systems.
Design and implement data ingestion processes for Snowflake, both internal and external, ensuring secure data sharing and efficient integration with third-party systems.
Define and enforce IAM strategies to ensure secure cloud environments. Guide the team in monitoring, governance, and configuration management.
Design and implement high availability (HA) and business continuity (BCP) strategies for cloud-based services. Ensure secure and compliant data storage and management.
Establish comprehensive monitoring and management strategies for cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance optimization and operational excellence.

Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Cloud, with a strong background in deploying, managing, and securing cloud services.
Deep understanding of Snowflake, including data ingestion patterns, Snowflake secure data sharing, and integration with external systems.
Advanced proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
Experience in designing and supporting enterprise core services and cloud deployments, with a focus on security, compliance, and scalability.
Experience implementing IAM strategies within cloud environments, ensuring secure access controls across integrated systems.
Experience interacting with external vendors, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of cloud initiatives.
Preferred
Experience with SAS integrations, both cloud and on-premise, as well as AI integrations for healthcare applications.
A solid foundation in data architecture principles, with the ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions for healthcare applications.
Familiarity with cloud management and automation tools such as Prefect for workflow orchestration.
Healthcare industry experience or a strong understanding of healthcare terminology and systems is highly preferred.
