Responsibilities

Review complex deals including agreement review, revenue allocations, and revenue conclusion in accordance with ASC606.

Research technical guidance and be able to apply judgement to complex transactions and guide the business on the revenue implications.

Prepare white paper to document complex revenue recognition related to contracts involving remix rights, and hybrid deals (License and Cloud software)

Perform month end and quarterly close procedures including reconciliation and preparing/posting revenue entries.

Prepare analysis as needed to ensure accuracy of revenue in our financial statements.

Liaison with outside consultants to review and discuss contracts and related revenue recognition on complex deal structure.

Continuously improve business processes, systems, and enhance documentation and controls as part of our SOX compliance efforts. This includes but is not limited to documenting and maintaining relevant policies and desktop operating procedures.

Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Deal Desk and Sales Operations to provide revenue accounting guidance and confirm if we can operationally support business agreements.

Support annual audits performed by external auditors.

Complete special projects as needed.
