Responsibilities

Continuously monitor data loss prevention systems and tools to detect and respond to potential data breaches or policy violations.
Investigate and respond to data loss incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation.
Implement and enforce data protection policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive information.
Work closely with IT, legal, compliance, and other departments to ensure data protection measures are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Generate and present regular reports on data loss incidents, trends, and the effectiveness of DLP measures.
Identify and recommend improvements to DLP processes, tools, and technologies.

Required

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
In-depth knowledge of data analytics, databases, and/or machine learning
Experience with supporting behavioral analysis, threat modeling, Intelligence Tools, dashboards, and reporting
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA)
Proficiency in using DLP tools and software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Data Privacy Laws
Highly motivated and self-directed
Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders to comprehend procedures and promote results
Identify ways to streamline and optimize processes
Organize special projects independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements
Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Degree in a related field or at least 3 years relevant professional experience

Preferred

Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE)
