Responsibilities

Conceive, design, and execute diverse cross-functional features to enhance the customer experience and boost developer productivity.

Collaborate with partner team developers and engineers to design, develop, and implement scalable toolsets for the Spark Runtime engineering ecosystem.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation scripts and software applications to optimize developer productivity.

Assist in the integration of monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the reliability and performance of the Spark Runtime engineering ecosystem.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve release quality and performance.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.

Document code, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.

Provide support and assistance to team members as needed, including during release validation and deployments.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C# AND Powershell AND YAML.

4+ years experience with C# programming.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
