Responsibilities
Maintain financial records, including:
Preparing, recording, and reviewing journal entries in the accounting software system
Reconciling and reviewing bank account reconciliations & other monthly reports prepared by team members
Preparing and reviewing monthly financial packages
Delivering monthly financial packages to internal and external stakeholders
Manage accounts payables, including:
Reviewing accounts payables and following up with team members and internal stakeholders on discrepancies and potential coding errors
Reviewing vendor payment runs prepared by team members for accuracy and addressing of communicated priorities, needs, and strategy
Finalizing and processing vendor payment runs
Manage relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including:
Collaborating with internal stakeholders on budget setting and forecasting
Managing expectations and communicating deliverables and due dates
Review monthly sales tax worksheets and file & pay sales taxes with the appropriate authority
Manage communication with auditors
Review and release required documentation and information requested by auditors
Complete year-end financial packages to external tax team and manage follow-up requests
Ensure complete and timely execution of state and federal tax obligations
Follow accounting policies & procedures to maintain internal controls
Day-to-day supervision and delegation of tasks to team members, as assigned
Support accounting team with projects or tasks, as assigned

Required

Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
Preferred
Prior experience in working with one or more company in Microsoft Business Central is a plus
Industry and Management experience is a plus
