Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor annual sales plan including contributing ideas to marketing and member retention strategies
Generate sales from brokers and enrollment influencers and increase the broker and enrollment influencer distribution system
Become intimately knowledgeable about company products and services and stay abreast of competitor products
Conduct intelligence gathering and analysis
Educate brokers and navigators on our individual products and services, and provide support through the annual open enrollment process
Hold broker and influencer seminars, training events and presentations when opportunities arise
Gather and share market intelligence information and offer ideas and suggestions for modifications to existing products, new products, and value-added offerings
Participate in productive chambers of commerce, and with other centers of influence (COI) as a means for creating sales leads
Represent company at community events to foster connections and engagement
Perform any other job duties as required

Required

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business or related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in group health insurance is required
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
Focus and goal-oriented disposition
Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to plan and execute quality lead generation, prospecting, and networking
Broad knowledge of all aspects of health care, products, and sales
Knowledge of and ability to collaborate, when necessary, with other departments
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Exceptional understanding of, and the ability to, communicate using virtual technology
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
Customer service oriented
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
Ability to provide excellent phone etiquette to follow up and complete sales
Current, unrestricted State Insurance License in Accident and Health within state(s) of assigned territory is/are required
Current, unrestricted Driver’s License in good standing is required
Influenza vaccination is a requirement of this position
