Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based APIs tailored for the financial services industry. Ensure these APIs are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry regulations.

Define deployment models that cater to different customer needs, including on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud deployment environments. Develop best practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Collaborate with customers to understand their cloud connectivity requirements and operating model. Design solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing cloud deployments, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.

Build and manage different interfaces such as Event-Driven Architectures (EDA), file-based reconciliation systems, and data warehouse integrations. Ensure these interfaces are optimized for performance, reliability, and compliance.

Work closely with engineering, operations, and GTM teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs. Participate in architectural reviews and design discussions to ensure alignment with the company’s technical vision.

Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure that relevant aspects of the platform adhere to these standards. Work with the compliance team to implement necessary changes and updates.

Required

Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud-based APIs, especially within regulated industries such as financial services.

Deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of APIs in financial institutions, including security, compliance, and scalability.

Experience working with and building Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions, connectors, and workflows.

Ability to design and manage complex integrations across diverse systems.

Extensive experience building cloud platforms at scale.

Strong knowledge of platform roadmap development, commercial approaches, and essential cloud infrastructure components such as VPC, extensibility, and security standards.

Demonstrated ability to partner with technical teams, make strategic decisions, and drive projects to completion.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
