Responsibilities

Create and manage schedules that align with the program's Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Contract Statement of Work (CSOW).

Collaborate with stakeholders to define detailed tasks, durations, dependencies, and milestones for building comprehensive project schedules.

Manage schedule logic relationships, critical paths, float, and performance status.

Conduct variance analyses, identify root causes, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project progress.

Provide weekly schedule performance reports and monthly cost performance updates to leadership.

Partner with contractors, government program office personnel, and subcontractors to establish and monitor execution against key milestones.

Facilitate cross-functional coordination to ensure schedules are effectively integrated and maintained.

Lead monthly schedule reviews and provide insights through network analysis feedback.

Generate and present detailed variance reports, including root cause analysis and mitigation forecasting.

Deliver concise and actionable updates to stakeholders during program reviews.

Required

Advanced proficiency with MS Project (required).

Strong understanding of construction and software schedule maintenance principles.

Ability to confidently pose questions, offer advice, and guide teams as a scheduling expert.

Excellent customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

4-7 years of experience in program scheduling or a related field.

Familiarity with managing schedules in dynamic project environments, preferably involving large-scale or multi-site initiatives.

Preferred

Proficiency with additional scheduling software tools beyond MS Project.

Experience in the construction or software industries.
