Responsibilities

Partner with the Managing Director of Operations to maintain, review, and enhance existing processes and procedures

Assist in creating, updating, and implement operational training and guides

Regularly exercise excellent business judgment while following compliance process and procedures

Develop and manage relationships with internal clients within sales and trading

Collaborate with other departments to reconcile accounts and improve operational efficiency.

Help to provide strategic leadership while staying tactically close to the day-to-day operations

Serve as a backup for the MD, Operations

Entering transactions on a daily basis

Position balancing

Monitoring regulatory trade reporting

Resolving trade breaks / fails

Entering information for new accounts

Additional duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field

At least 5-7 years of operational experience in the financial industry, including solid knowledge of trade and post-trading processes

Series 7 License

Detail-oriented problem solver

Ability to work well independently and within a team

Strong multitasking and prioritization skills

Must be able to perform well in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

Excellent communication skills across media types and to all levels

Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service

Demonstrated proficiency with Excel
