Responsibilities
Champion BFF’s financial strategy, providing insights for sound decision-making and ensuring best practices in fiduciary stewardship.
Develop and implement short- and long-term financial plans to support organizational growth and mission sustainability.
Oversee financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, grant management, and audit preparation.
Optimize systems, processes, and internal communications to ensure the smooth daily operation of the organization.
Manage the Atlanta office, including inventory, data security, and technology infrastructure.
Lead initiatives to enhance operational systems, adapting them to meet current and future organizational needs.

Required
Deeply committed to Black feminist values and passionate about shifting conditions for Black women, girls, and gender-expansive people across the U.S. and the diaspora.
Strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and operations, particularly within nonprofits or social justice organizations.
Skilled with financial software and cloud-based tools.
Experience with HR and payroll software, understanding of 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) tax implications, and commitment to meticulous financial reporting.
Enjoy challenging standard approaches with innovative ideas and new solutions.
Excel at relationship building and thrive in leading through internal shifts and organizational growth.
