Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to develop detailed test cases.

Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, and report all issues, test case runs, test results, and summaries.

Perform manual testing and data validation to ensure accuracy and functionality.

Utilize advanced SQL queries for data analysis and manipulation.

Collaborate with development teams and customers to understand functionality and define automation test cases.

Execute performance and accessibility testing to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

Review user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate applications or improve existing systems.

Work with the project team during sprint/release work, including providing testing effort estimates, resolving defects, and providing status updates on work assignments or issues.

Required

Experience in testing complex web applications

Experience in testing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Proficient in database/SQL language for performing data analysis and manipulation

Experience with XML, JSON, and API testing

Experience with automation testing

Strong ability to create and execute detailed functional and regression test cases

Advanced knowledge of SQL for data validation and manipulation

Experience in performance and accessibility testing

Ability to work closely with development teams to define test case automation

Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders

Preferred

Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST)

Experience with test automation using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks

Familiarity with test frameworks like Junit, TestNG

Experience using WAPT Pro, JMeter, or other performance testing tools

Previous experience with Zypher Scale

Familiarity with Jira issue tracking software
