Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with Limited Partners (LPs), family offices, and institutional investors to attract and grow AUM.

Manage and scale a systematic equity portfolio while leading a team of investment professionals.

Oversee portfolio construction, execution, and risk management strategies to ensure sustained alpha generation.

Collaborate with AI researchers, quantitative analysts, and developers to refine trading strategies and expand capabilities.

Leverage experience in startup investment, angel investment, or venture capital to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that align with the company's long-term vision.

Act as an angel investor in the startup, contributing both capital and strategic guidance to support its growth.

Contribute to shaping the firm's dual focus on foundational AI and algorithmic trading by driving the convergence of research and practical applications.

Required

At least 5 years of experience managing a portfolio with a live AUM > $200M and a Sharpe ratio > 2.

Demonstrated success in managing teams and investment portfolios.

Strong foundation in mathematics, quantitative research, and machine learning, with the ability to apply AI techniques to financial markets.

Proven ability to generate consistent alpha while adapting to dynamic market conditions.

Experience in startup investment, angel investment, or venture capital, with a demonstrated ability to foster high-impact relationships and evaluate innovative opportunities.

Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
