Responsibilities
Plan, design, and manage online course development and revision projects
Manage content area with an eye toward student persistence
Bring new program, design, and development ideas to the table
Ensure sound, engaging content
Identify and engage with qualified contractors (writers, subject matter experts, etc.)
Inform relevant company departments about new and revised courses/programs
Use WDL instructional design processes for quality content
Load and ensure quality LMS presentation of content
Organize eBook options for purchased textbooks
Produce content appropriate to the audience
Work with instructors and subject matter experts to enhance and improve existing content
Use reports to indicate student stoppoints to determine how to help students progress in their studies
Review student surveys and apply necessary revisions to the content as a result

Required
Must have instructional design experience in a postsecondary online environment
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and adapt to changes in priorities
Preferred
Prefer master's degree in related fields (instructional design, curriculum development, etc.)
Prefer at least 2 years of instructional design experience in a postsecondary online environment
Prefer at least 2 years of broad knowledge of instructional development and design as well as instructional best practices
Prefer at least 2 years of experience in designing, revising and editing curricula
Prefer at least 2 years of project management experience
