Responsibilities

Research and evaluate the market, current and potential customers, and the competition.

Build an understanding and appreciation for the questions that the various stakeholders and personas are looking to answer in the transportation space using data for improving safety and better hiring.

Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data-driven products that enrich decision-making and provide further value for our internal customers as well as external-facing customers utilizing our next-generation platform.

Identify opportunities for new data products or enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.

Translate complex business requirements into clear data product specifications and work with technical teams to ensure alignment.

Collaborate alongside the data engineering team to prioritize and implement data product features and address technical debt.

Tell compelling stories using data crafted from both publicly available and internal data, digestible by both techies and non-techies alike.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, marketing, and sales) to ensure product alignment and successful go-to-market strategy for the given data products.

Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.

Create user documentation and internal enablement collateral

Maintain a feedback loop for continuous improvement of data products, using metrics, user feedback, and data analysis to drive and prioritize iterative development

Ensure that data products comply with industry standards and regulations for data security, privacy, and governance.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to embed best practices around data ethics and responsible data usage.
