Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of a strategic technology infrastructure plan, while also being willing and able to dive into technical details as needed.

Directly build and manage a small team of infrastructure engineers and operations staff, providing hands-on mentorship, fostering professional growth, and promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Hands-on management of our AWS infrastructure to ensure its reliability, performance, and security. Implement best practices in cloud operations, including disaster recovery planning and testing.

Actively seek and implement new and innovative cloud solutions. Drive creative optimizations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve system scalability and reliability.

Liaise with other departments to identify and support their technology needs, ensuring that infrastructure services are seamlessly integrated and aligned with business processes. Partner in mergers and acquisitions to integrate systems and applications.

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure, software development, or related technology roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.

Proven track record in managing AWS-hosted infrastructure and leading engineering and operations teams.
