Responsibilities
Work with the Grant Coordinator to develop tools and strategies to increase grant funding.
Support reconciliation of various grant and financial documents.
Assist with project planning, management, tracking, and implementation.
Assist with grant management processes and administrative duties.
Develop knowledge of assigned AFSC program.
Conduct prospect research to include research of institutional supporters with interests in AFSC program areas and creating prospect profiles.
Assist in meeting funder reporting/compliance requirements.
Create grant and program organizing tools.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Ability to see the connection between fundraising work and field work in support of the mission of AFSC.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and be proactive.
Must be detail-oriented with strong communication and analyzing skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt easily to changing situations and priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Word or Excel.
Preferred
High School degree or equivalent preferred.
Excellent communication, writing, and research skills preferred.
Experience working/volunteering in the non-profit sector preferred but not required.
