Responsibilities
Develop, configure, and maintain RHEL images to meet customer requirements
Ensure images are optimized for performance, security, and compliance
Automate build and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, terraform, and Jenkins
Implement and enforce security policies and practices in line with standards and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans on RHEL Images
Apply STIGs to ensure compliance with security protocols
Perform regular audits to assess security posture and compliance
Use Nessus to conduct vulnerability scans and address identified issues
Collaborate with security team to monitor and respond to security incidents
Work with customer to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on secure image configuration
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to RHEL images
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for customers

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or IT related field of study and 8 years of experience; or 12 years experience with a HS Diploma
8+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on RHEL
Expertise in building and maintaining RHEL images
5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools such as terraform and Ansible
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
In-depth understanding of security practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security
Expertise with STIGs and their application in securing systems
Proficiency in using Nessus for vulnerability scanning and remediation
Experience conducting security audits and addressing compliance issues
Public Trust- Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust Security Clearance (called 'Entry on Duty')
US Citizenship required - personnel with Permanent Resident (Green Cards) or Work Visas are not eligible for this position
