Responsibilities
Partner with practice group leaders to understand specific attorney hiring needs.
Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality legal talent, including associate and lateral attorneys.
Proactively identify new talent pools and expand Tyson & Mendes' recruiting network.
Participate in full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviews, and offer phase.
Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Conduct initial phone screens and interviews, assessing candidates based on the firm’s legal and cultural needs.
Collaborate with recruiting team, partners, practice group leaders, and HR to ensure a streamlined hiring process.
Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment efforts, market trends, and candidate pipeline status.
Build and maintain strong relationships with law schools, legal recruiting firms, and professional organizations to enhance the firm’s visibility and branding.
Promote Tyson & Mendes as an employer of choice within the legal industry.
Support the firm’s diversity and inclusion initiatives by ensuring diverse talent pools in all recruiting efforts.
Maintain an organized database of candidates, utilizing recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Prepare recruiting-related reports and data for the management team.
Special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related fields.
3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required.
Strong knowledge of recruiting processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
Proficiency in recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (ATS), such as Greenhouse, iCIMS, Workday, or similar platforms.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred
3+ years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm or in-house legal department strongly preferred.
Familiarity with insurance defense or civil litigation practice areas preferred.
