Responsibilities
Monitor and manage employee data within the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all HR functions including payroll, benefits, and employee records.
Conduct regular audits and data integrity checks to identify and resolve discrepancies, inconsistencies, or errors in the HRIS. This includes information used in the creation of reporting for general ledger and financial systems (e.g., Lawson, Solomon, etc.).
Collaborate with IT and HR teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, support the implementation of system updates, and manage data migrations or integrations.
Generate reports on data quality and integrity, providing insights and recommendations to HR leadership for improving data management practices.
Identify and implement best practices and process improvements for data entry, data management, and system use to enhance overall data quality and system efficiency.
Ensure that data management practices comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and company policies, maintaining confidentiality and data security.
Maintain accurate documentation of data management processes, procedures, and system changes to support continuity and compliance.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management or HRIS roles, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG) and strong knowledge of healthcare data management practices.
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and resolve issues effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data issues and implement effective solutions.
Preferred
Understanding of healthcare regulations and data privacy requirements, including HIPAA, is highly desirable.
