Responsibilities
Develops, tests, deploys, and maintains software, with a clear understanding of the value the software is to provide; Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm; Consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances; Develops test suites (functional, destructive, etc) to enable success, rapid deployment of code to production; Takes a broad view when approaching issues; using a global lens

Required
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
3 years of relevant work experience in software engineering or related fields.
Proficiency in backend development with Golang, Java, and Spring Boot for building and enhancing platforms (service mesh, traffic management).
Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure.
Familiarity with traffic management and routing solutions (especially experience with traffic routing systems like Akamai).
Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Google Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and modern software design patterns for scalable and maintainable systems.
Familiarity with Relational and NoSQL database technologies.
Knowledge of security frameworks for user and service authentication and authorization.
Experience in unit, functional, destructive, and performance testing to ensure high-quality and reliable software.
Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Awareness of third-party solutions (e.g., Akamai) used in traffic management and routing.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Preferred
2-4 years of relevant work experience in software engineering or related fields.
Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP (preferred) and Azure (nice to have).
