Responsibilities

Lead the data function, managing a team of 30+ across data engineering, analytics, data governance, and eventually AI/ML.

Own the end-to-end data architecture, governance, and security, ensuring data integrity and accessibility while implementing processes that safeguard data quality and compliance.

Collaborate with the CTO on IT infrastructure needs and support the integration of AI and ML systems to improve player engagement, retention, and revenue.

Work with external partners to optimize infrastructure, including real-time data streaming, machine learning models, and automated recommendations.

Develop strategic roadmaps for data-driven initiatives to enhance customer experience and monetization strategies, including real-time analysis and player-specific triggers.

Identify opportunities for data monetization and work closely with internal stakeholders to leverage data for both business and player outcomes.

Required

Proven experience as a data leader with a background in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and data governance.

Deep expertise in cloud platforms and data tools, including machine learning, Python, and data-related frameworks.

Experience working in data-intensive industries such as gaming, tech, or start-ups.

Strong background in machine learning, real-time data analysis, and predictive analytics, with a particular focus on live operations and player engagement.

Experience in designing and implementing scalable data architectures and systems that integrate real-time data, machine learning, and business intelligence.

Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams across multiple functions and driving strategic initiatives.
