Responsibilities
Oversee entire Interconnection Process including; feasibility, Interconnection Application, PPA, Power System Studies.
Identify new areas for interconnection opportunities in WECC & CAISO to grow the portfolio.
Submit Interconnection application and cluster study analyses within opening windows of different RTOs.
Manage Power System consultants
Be the Subject Matter Expert for Tariffs, market trends, ISO Policies and regulatory changes.
Lead the relationships with third parties such as Utilities and RTO/ISOs
Create internal strategy for market leading Power system studies and Transmission analysis.

Required
8+ years working at either Developer/Utility/Consultancy focusing on Utility scale renewable energy. (Preference for strong Storage experience)
6+ years working on System Studies (PSSE, TARA, PROMOD/PSCAD, knowledge of nodal cost analysis is a plus)
Previously managed either internal team of Transmission Planning engineers or Consultants
Expertise in WECC OR CAISO Interconnection policy
Experience working across different markets in the US through the entire interconnection process
Previous success in reducing interconnection queue timelines and expanding pipeline with interconnection viability
