Responsibilities
Assist with answering and directing Claims Department phone calls and emails; making sure all areas are documented.
Assist in gathering necessary documentation and information from customers and/or service providers.
Receive new claims, register in the system, and assign to a Claims Adjuster.
Send related claim forms and documents as needed or requested.
Generate monthly, weekly, and daily Claims Data reports as needed.
Performing high-value traces, communicating results to customers, and scheduling and tracking items found.
Interface with the Adjuster, Agent, and customers to obtain information to ensure completeness of the information and update the claims system.
Performs follow-up on claims and updates system with new information as it is received.
Process and review claims settlement letters and checks.
Provide excellent customer service using sound judgment and decision making.
Typing, filing, scanning, copying and general office clerical duties.
Performs other job-related duties as needed

Required
High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.
Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient computer skills - MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy and with attention to detail.
Positive interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.
Preferred
Previous knowledge and/or experience working in an administrative/data processing role within Military Move, personal property or cargo claims environment highly preferred.
