Responsibilities
Under direct supervision of the Interior Design Principal & Lead Architect, you will assist in all project phases including Design Development, Model/ Rendering Building, Procurement, Construction Drawing Drafting, etc.
Tasks include creating mood boards, hand-drawn design sketches, floor plans, elevations, detailed millwork drawings, and specifications for room finishes.
Assist with FFE selections, layout discussions, and design documentation with lead designers throughout all phases of interior design work, as required.
Facilitate communications with vendors to assist design leads in ordering samples, materials, furnishings, etc from vendors.
Maintain FF&E selections and vendor negotiation within project budgets and time constraints.
Assist in the design development and documentation of interior spaces, logging communications between clients and lead designers.
Become familiar with building and life safety codes and apply Interior Design work.
Produce Interior Design Sketches and perform support functions as directed in conformance with project time, cost, and quality constraints.
Attend site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Provide documentation of conditions, progress, client-facing notes, etc.
May perform other duties as required.

Bachelor's in Interior Design by the hire date

1-2 years of relevant Commercial Design Experience
