Responsibilities

Lead the management and strategic execution of compliance programs elements across key regulatory areas of the business to ensure strict adherence to applicable regulations. Systematically conduct and enhance compliance risk assessments and monitoring activities, engage with cross functional teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Develop and refine compliance strategies and process improvements. Evaluate, summarize, and report on the compliance programs progress and developments, ensuring that the compliance initiatives align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Design and implement analytics and tracking processes to monitor compliance metrics, provide reports to senior management to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to compliance standards.
Collaborate with the compliance team to create and manage a training program for associates, focusing on fostering awareness and understanding of compliance policies and regulatory requirements. Develop communication plans to disseminate compliance knowledge across the organization.
Offer guidance to ensure organizational adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, promoting a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across all functional areas.
Identify and address areas of non-compliance by escalating issues to senior and executive management, as necessary, to mitigate risks and uphold the organization's compliance standing.
Monitor and analyze new regulations impacting the business. Communicate relevant regulatory changes to stakeholders to ensure compliance across the organization.
Assist the senior director compliance programs in managing interactions with regulators ensuring the organization's compliance practices meet all regulatory standards and requirements.

Required

Bachelor Degree in related field
Certified Pharmacy Tech or Certified in Healthcare Compliance
7 years of experience in the healthcare compliance field including conducting compliance risk assessments and monitoring activities within a compliance program.
7 years of experience in strong working knowledge of the various settings of pharmacy or healthcare operations
7 years of experience in progressive management with at least six years developing, launching, managing, and monitoring compliance programs.
7 years of experience in retail pharmacy operations including billing and regulatory requirements

Preferred

Masters Degree
Effective communication and teaching skills with proven success working across departmental lines to implement new policies, procedures, and programs
5 years of experience in working with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Office of Inspector General (OIG) compliance program requirements
