Responsibilities
Monthly IBNR Reporting: Develop and produce incurred-but-not-reported (IBNR) reserve reports, evaluating various methodologies to accurately project ultimate claim costs.
Catastrophe Event Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis on all PCS-designated catastrophe events affecting company losses, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Reserve Management: Oversee updates to case reserves, ensuring alignment with claims experience and financial forecasts.
Forecasting: Develop and maintain a forecasting framework for premiums, losses, and expenses to support business planning and decision-making.
Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to impact results.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent working experience
Credentials: Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS) required
4+ years in a relevant actuarial role, preferably with experience in reserving or pricing
8+ years of professional experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Microsoft Access and other Microsoft Office products.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Evidence of achieving results within ambiguous environments.
Experience contributing ideas to improve results cross-functionally and informing team and division strategy.
Preferred
Experience with reserving tools such as ResQ; familiarity with analytics packages like R or other programming skills is a plus.
Experience in Property and Casualty insurance preferred.
