Responsibilities

Design and deploy Windows-based infrastructure solutions.
Implement automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
Manage and maintain Windows servers, including updates, patches, and security configurations.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Work with development teams to optimize application performance on Windows platforms.
Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users.
Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible.
Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
Automated Event driven Operations.
Generate regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security incidents.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Proven experience with Windows Server administration.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell.
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of Ansible.
Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow.
