Responsibilities
Partner with Executive level client counterparts to align operational objectives.
Translate your industry expertise into strategic vision and generate client buy-in.
Lead, coach and develop a team of local 2-4 direct reports.
Drive team performance to high achievement and high-quality outcomes.
Participate in Accretive strategy development as a thought leader and content expert. Focus on development, performance and growth of direct reports.
Oversee and coordinate revenue enhancement initiatives and business operations across all aspects of the revenue cycle for client hospitals.
Own all management decision regarding daily operations within assigned hospital(s).
Work with client c-suite and CFO collaboratively to drive results.
Gain executive client buy-in for intricate projects and initiatives.
Tenacity /Grit – This role will require getting deep into details and personally driving results in complex and challenging environments. While this work can be tedious, it is foundational to success.
Analytical Skills – Understanding of complex Excel and Access and/or simple SQL are a plus. More important is mathematical / analytical aptitude, ability to translate operational concepts into measurable results, and vice versa.
Leadership Skills – Strong communications and leadership skills, while acting as a role model and coaching team members in R1’s core values Change Management – The ability to help counterparts through difficult transitions to a new process, workflow, or situation.

Required
Revenue Cycle Experience
Proven experience in steadily advancing leadership roles
Strong and broad understanding of Revenue Cycle Operations within a Hospital setting
Demonstrated, relevant domain knowledge in one or more areas
Willing to relocate or open to significant travel
Strong communications and leadership skills
Ability to help counterparts through difficult transitions to a new process, workflow, or situation
Mathematical / analytical aptitude
Ability to translate operational concepts into measurable results
Preferred
Understanding of complex Excel and Access and/or simple SQL
Experience in driving results in complex and challenging environments
