Responsibilities
Resolve Tier 2 escalations for the benefits team that are received through the ticketing system and ensure service level agreements are met.
Act as a resource on the benefit plan/ policy, procedures and processes. Research discrepancies between employee, payroll, benefit providers, and government agencies for the purpose of ensuring accuracy of records and maximizing eligible payments.
Assist with Leave processing related to FMLA, STD and LTD. This includes updates in Workday and Kronos as well as monitoring of incoming emails from leave vendor and direct communication with employees, managers and HRBP.
Use a thorough knowledge of the company benefit plans, HRIS and vendor systems and structure, troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from simple questions to moderately detailed and complex issues directly with managers and HR.
Audit the processes, systems and ticketing system and provide recommendations and solutions for continuous improvement.
Provide coaching support to employees, beneficiaries, HR and managers on benefit plans and the interpretation/explanation of benefits processes, tools and systems.
Partner with other HR groups to promote team alignment. Works closely with Benefits COE, HR Service Center, HRBP and Managers to support new services and change management activities.
Participate in testing for the implementation of new systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a Human Resources or Business Administration degree program (i.e., or a related field of study).
A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Must possess knowledge of MS Office; specifically, MS Excel & PowerPoint.
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, strong organization and analytical skills, ability to set and work to deadlines.
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
