Lasko Products is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of portable fans and heaters, seeking a Maintenance Technician for their Fort Worth, Texas location. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support the site’s business goals.

Responsibilities

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments

Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities

Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties

Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Required

High School or equivalent

Team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization

Must be able to understand and apply basic directions with regard to safety procedures, quality standards, production goals, and company rules, regulations and processes

Proficiency in operating machinery in routine and non-routine, and complex and non-complex environments

Operate within SOP'S and maintain a clean and safe work area

Ability to perform to schedule in flexible, dynamic work environment with minimal supervision

Ensuring basic quality standards are met

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Stand, walk, reach, climb, crawl, bend, squat, pull, push

Lift up to 100 lbs

Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment

Preferred

Technical education/background and Associate's Degree preferred

3–5 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance environment
