Responsibilities
Process payroll ensuring the accuracy of payments to employees.
Day-to-day payroll functions including timecard maintenance, employee changes, garnishment and PTO administration.
Audit employee payroll data, payments, and hours to ensure accuracy.
Ensure all benefit payments are accurately deducted on paychecks.
Process leaves of absence and terminations with accuracy according to state laws.
Process stop payments, reversals, and replacements.
Assist employees and managers with time and attendance issues.
Follow internal payroll policies and act in accordance with relevant laws.
Prepare and process end of the year reporting requirements and W2 forms.
Performs other duties as assigned

Required
Minimum associate’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in payroll, accounting, human resources or other business-related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Basic knowledge of Federal, state, and local employment laws relating to FLSA and pay practices.
Knowledge of HRIS systems for payroll processing and data management.
Knowledge of Microsoft tools and other applications.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
