Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts

Analyze financial statements and other documents to determine tax liabilities

Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations for optimization

Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for tax filings

Develop strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and serving as their trusted advisor on all tax matters

Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance

Assist with audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tax Accountant, with a focus on corporate taxation

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations

Experience with ULTRA TAX software (will not be considered if not on resume)

Experience with QuickBooks (will not be considered if not on resume)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Attention to detail and accuracy are essential

Preferred

Master's degree

CPA certification or EA
