Responsibilities
Design and develop GIS applications and tools using industry-standard technologies and best practices
Integrate GIS solutions with existing systems and databases
Create, manage, and analyze spatial data using GIS software and tools
Develop and maintain custom GIS web and mobile applications
Perform spatial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver GIS solutions that meet project needs
Ensure the quality and accuracy of spatial data and GIS products
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in GIS technology and implement them as needed

Required
Proven experience as a GIS Developer or in a similar role
Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Go
Experience with web GIS technologies (e.g. Leaflet, OpenLayers)
Familiarity with spatial databases and SQL. (e.g. Postgis/PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of geospatial data formats and standards
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
