Responsibilities
Partner closely with team members to learn business operations and identify the analytic needs of various roles
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and identify salient trends and patterns in the data
Implement statistical methodologies including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, variable reduction, and clustering
Design and build intuitive dashboards and data models in PowerBI and Salesforce Analytics Studio to enable self-service analytics
Guide business decisions related to market segment strategy, marketing spend, pricing, product roadmap, and sales programs
Synthesize and present large amounts of information in a universally understandable way to enable partners to explore and identify patterns for business improvement
Convert findings into impactful recommendations and present compelling story to business leaders
Support governance of data usage to ensure consistency, including development of data dictionary and guidance/rules on usage of specific metrics

Required
Bachelor’s degree required with emphasis in analytics or relevant work experience
4+ years demonstrable experience applying data to analytics and decision making, preferably within a wholesale or retail industry or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving mentality
Knowledge of statistical concepts and sophisticated analytic techniques
Solid grasp of SQL for data querying, manipulation, and retrieval
Experience with dashboard design and data visualization using tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
Proven stakeholder-management skills including requirement gathering, establishing vision, managing expectations, collecting feedback, continuous improvement, and consistent communication
Attention to detail and data accuracy. Dedication to quality assurance
Superb communication and presentation skills
Preferred
Advanced degree preferred
Experience in Power Query M formula language, cloud-based data management a plus
Familiarity with programming languages such as R or Python, cloud databases such as Azure, and data science platforms such as Databricks are a plus
