Responsibilities

Verifies accuracy of journal entries, account balances and accounting classifications

Follow up on accounting/system issues that affect accounts to ensure proper reporting of financial data

Assist and train other accountants in research of issues that require advanced accounting or system knowledge

Analyze statistics and make recommendations for improvements to work flow and systems

May prepare and/or review various financial statements and footnotes

Develop and maintain accounting specifications for system enhancements

Develop and maintain financial reporting and tracking tools

Works with both internal and external business partners and/or auditors to ensure proper reporting of financial data

Ability to manage competing priorities

Other duties as assigned.
