Responsibilities

Identify and develop new customer opportunities in the HDD utility sector with a focus on utility boring projects, trenchless solutions, and specialty drilling.
Proactively prospect and qualify leads to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, including utility companies, municipalities, general contractors, and project stakeholders.
Understand client needs, challenges, and project goals to position ASG’s services as the ideal solution.
Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for the HDD utility market.
Lead contract negotiations, proposals, and bids to close deals effectively and efficiently.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry opportunities to inform strategy and decision-making.
Drive top-line revenue by securing new projects and achieving (or exceeding) monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoff and successful execution for clients.
Maintain accurate CRM records of opportunities, pipeline progress, and key client interactions.
Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates to leadership.

Required

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the HDD, trenchless utility, or construction sectors.
Proven track record of generating new business and driving revenue growth in a similar role.
Strong understanding of HDD, trenchless technology, and utility boring projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to develop client relationships and influence decision-makers.
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales goals.
Self-starter with a hunter mentality and relentless drive to pursue new opportunities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
