Responsibilities
Pre-register and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, and tests in a timely manner
Handle incoming calls and manage follow-up and referral work queues
Communicate with patient care teams to ensure efficient care
Complete patient checkout and schedule follow-up appointments as per physician orders
Accurately enter data into the electronic health record while interacting with patients

Required
Minimum of 1 year of clinical healthcare experience
1 year experience as a Patient Scheduler I
1 year experience in a contact/call center
Preferred
Experience with population management or chronic disease management initiatives
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
