Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance on creating, revising, and implementing telehealth policies and protocols for schools, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Collaborate with school districts, legal counsel, and compliance experts to develop essential documents such as consent forms, privacy notices, and data-sharing agreements.
Recommend best practices for policy organization, tracking, and digital documentation to support seamless compliance.
Offer consultative support on the setup and operationalization of telehealth programs, focusing on policy compliance and alignment with school district and regulatory standards.
Work with stakeholders to clarify roles and responsibilities, supporting smooth implementation and adherence to telehealth program protocols.
Act as a resource for policy and compliance questions, ensuring both internal and external stakeholders are well-informed and equipped for compliance.
Conduct compliance assessments and audits of telehealth protocols, advising on updates as regulatory changes arise.
Monitor changes in telehealth regulations impacting schools and communicate required updates to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with the communication and training teams to develop compliance resources, guidelines, and training materials.
Build and maintain strong relationships with school district representatives, healthcare providers, and technology vendors to support telehealth goals.
Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders, providing timely updates on telehealth policy requirements and program progress.
Assist in knowledge-sharing efforts within OCHIN and with school administrators to promote awareness and understanding of telehealth compliance needs.
Identify opportunities to enhance telehealth processes and improve accessibility in school-based programs.
Capture key metrics, outcomes, and lessons learned to inform future telehealth initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, policy development, or a related field.
Minimum of five years in telehealth program implementation or policy compliance within educational or healthcare settings.
Familiarity with grant-funded project compliance.
Ohio residency is required to support compliance with state-specific regulations.
Strong knowledge of policy development, compliance requirements, and program implementation in educational and healthcare environments.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex policy requirements into actionable steps for diverse audiences.
Familiarity with telehealth technology, student privacy regulations (FERPA, HIPAA), and school district policy structures.
Candidates will be required to travel approximately 75% or more throughout the state of OHIO.

Preferred

Experience with telehealth implementation in schools highly preferred - Preference given to candidates with School Telehealth experience.
