Responsibilities
Provide pretest and post-test genetic counseling for patients regarding BTO’s test offerings which include carrier screening with reflex single-gene NIPT, aneuploidy NIPT and NIPT for fetal antigen.
Draft test results in a timely manner to be sent to ordering physicians
Assist with the development of patient and provider education materials
Participate in the call-out of test results to providers as necessary
Obtain and maintain genetic counseling licensure as required
Perform other duties as assigned

Required
Master’s degree in genetic counseling or equivalent degree with at least 5 years of experience
Experience in prenatal genetic counseling is a must
ABGC certified and licensed in home state if applicable
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
You are detail oriented and passionate about providing high quality genetic counseling and customer service
You are flexible and enjoy a fast-paced work environment
Preferred
Multi-state licensure preferred but not required
Experience with variant interpretation preferred but not required
